A resturant in Forrest Hills is offering a hard-to-beat recession special: pay what you want.

A Queens restaurant, located on Queens Blvd. is offering an ineteresting "Pay What You Want" menu.
Every Tuesday starting Feb. 3, the Tierra Sana restaurant in Forrest Hills will offer customers this special - meaning that patrons can pay as much money as they think their food selection deserves.
The restaurant - whose name means "healthy earth" in Spanish - serves Spanish-style cuisine that uses mostly organic and locally grown ingredients. The menu also features vegetarian and vegan options.
Unfortunately, alcohol is not part of Tierra Sana's Tuesday deal, so boozing patrons will have to spring full price for a glass of the restaurant's organic wine.

  2. Wow ... that's a really neat idea. I wonder how well it'll work - and more importantly, if it catches on and spreads to other restaurants!
